Coaching: I was fortunate enough to be involved in athletics since childhood. I played baseball, football & basketball at a competitive level in regional & national competition. I finished the sports in high school devoting more time to my studies in college. I took up college cross country because of the kinder training schedule, lettered & was awarded an All-American certificate. I also was given the college 'guts' award for my love of competition. I returned to youth athletics as both a coach & referee for competitive basketball & associated all-star teams. Once I finished medical school, I had the great opportunity to support the professional hockey team, Buffalo Sabers & on occasion the Buffalo Bills Football team. I even got to go to the Stanley Cup finals. Moving to heat in the south I was introduced to Futball (soccer).  The combination of running & team play made it the perfect fit for me.  I played 6 years in the CVSA league & once won the division. I have been learning & loving the game ever since.
